Industries

WinSched is an extremely flexible program and can be quickly configured for many industries when installed. Below is a list of industries that WinSched is pre-configured for. If your industry isn't listed here, that doesn't mean that WinSched won't work for you. The basic stand-alone installation will do scheduling for any scheduling of labor, it just may not link to other software you use.

Flooring

Initially created for the Flooring Industry, WinSched has many features that give you the power to manage your installation crews, inspectors, vacations and estimators. Multiple Flooring Software vendors integrate very tightly with WinSched. All it takes is a simple drag and drop from an invoice table to the schedule board. Scheduling of invoice details (labor items) makes scheduling even easier by totaling up the dollar amount for each detail line to get a total dollar figure for the current schedule. This total dollar value is divided by a pre-programmed dollar per hour figure to estimate the total hours needed for a schedule. WinSched then takes this total hours value and helps you find a slot on the schedule board using your installers 'man-hours-per-day' value, automatically adjusting the start and end dates for the job.

Linking WinSched to the invoice data shows address and other invoice information on edit forms, schedule boards and reports. This information can also be used to open a window with Maps and Directions to the job site.

QFloors

QFloors is the easiest software integration to use. QFloors sells this version of WinSched called QSched. A simple click on the Schedule button of the invoice brings up the invoice in QSched ready to be placed on the schedule board. Changes to the schedule date will also reflect the change in QFloors software. QFloors website for more details.

RFMS

The RFMS integration provides a link from an RFMS invoice in WinSched. More information on RFMS can be found on their website.

Construction

The Construction industry is very similar to the Flooring industry in its configuration. A specific feature called WebSync will link Builders with their subcontractors to both confirm you both have the same schedule information and save data entry errors and wasted time.

Security

The Security industry is also very similar to the Flooring or Construction industries. Additional fields are added that are specific to the scheduling needs of Fire and Burglary Alarm installers.

Printing

The printing industry is unique to other industries since you don't just have labor to schedule, but you also have equipment that needs scheduling. WinSched helps you handle this scheduling need easily.
