WebSync - Data Sharing Tool
WebSync is a WinSched feature that enables the sharing of information between companies. This provides an easy way to reduce re-entry of information and verify your schedules agree. Each company can decide which schedules and fields they want to share with each of their business partners.
The re-entry of information is a key point where mistakes are made. Communications between key people at other companies is always an error waiting to happen. WebSync helps to eliminate these errors by automating the exchange of information, saving you both time and errors.
In order to share information with another company, the sharing company must have the Mail Services option of WinSched. Business partners that want to receive this shared information only require a standard WinSched license. If the receiving partner has the Schedule Request option, new schedules can be configured to create Requests to provide better control of new schedules.
As schedules at the sharing company change, the receiving company will be notified of the change and they can accept or ignore the change using a reconcile form.
