WinSched Server

WinSched Server is a product designed for those that want to get the most out of their scheduling tool. In addition to the features available with the WinSched Client software, this product also allows scheduling across the internet. Either use the WinSched Client on a remote network, your favorite browser, or even a cell phone to schedule, run reports or link to other companies. Use WebSync to exchange selected information with other companies that use WinSched.

Here are some of the key features that WinSched Server provides:

Mail and FAX - Staying in touch with others in business can be time consuming. If you don't take the time to keep others up to date, mistakes can happen costing money and ruining your image with your customers. The Mail and FAX tools can send Confirmations to key people when changes happen to their schedules. These can be builders, salespeople, mechanics or anyone you want to notify that has an email address or FAX machine. Reports and other system information can also be sent through these channels. This automated function frees schedulers from the telephone tag game so they can focus on other more important tasks.

HTML Scheduling - For scheduling on computers running Windows on a local network, the WinSched Client program is the most powerful tool to use. With WinSched Server, your options are expanded to anything that can run a browser to view a web page. User privleges control who has access to what information. Each of your customers can view their own data, but not other customers data. You can integrate these scheduling web pages into your existing web site and include your own company logo or keep it on a web site of its own. Scheduling, Reports and Schedule Requests are all available through this interface.

Tasks - Reports can be scheduled to be automatically run at a selected frequency. Have a work ticket sent to your mechanics every working day at a pre-set time. Send a status report to a customer on a Weekly basis. You decide the report, frequency and recipient list and the reports will be sent automatically as requested until you cancel the schedule.

WebSync - The typical sequence of events for a job would be as follows: The builder plans the different tasks required to complete the job; Sheetrock, Painting, Flooring, countertops, etc.. The builder contacts the sub-contractors and they re-enter the job information such as address, schedule date and size. These sub-contractors may then need to contact their sub-contractors and relay similar information to them. If a change happens, they will then need to repeat the same procedure. WebSync helps tremendously in this paper schuffle, eliminating data re-entering and verifying that both agree. No more showing up at the wrong address or on the wrong day.

This product is scheduled for release Summer of 2006.
